7th December 2018 was a cherishing and jubilant day for the Sisters of St. Ann, Luzern, especially for Sr. Anjeli Indwar, Sr. Jisha Joseph and Sr. Nirmala Rani as they made the Perpetual Profession pronouncing
their total ‘YES’ to the Lord to walk His way. His Excellency Most Rev.Thelagathoti Joseph Raja Rao, SMM Bishop of Vijayawada, officiated the Eucharistic celebration.
Sr.Elizabeth Antony, the Superior General of the
Congregation, accepted the holy vows of the Sisters in the presence of Sr. Daisy, the Provincial Superior, and a good number of priests, Sisters and the family members of our Sisters. Bishop, in his homily, called upon the Sisters to practice the qualities of compassion, kindness, humility, patience and gentleness in order to lead a meaningful life of witness and consecration. He also urged the Sisters to be themselves, doing nothing, thinking nothing, in deep solitude and silence for one hour daily in front of the Lord to be the joy of their families, the congregation and the people whom they are sent to serve. We thank Most Rev. Bishop for his gracious
presence and message. We also gratefully acknowledge the presence of all
the Fathers who concelebrated the Holy Eucharist, Sisters, Brothers and all the invitees for being with us and praying for our Sisters.
